Gear for Expeditions: Trade or Sell Your Technical Gear

Finding varied, high-quality mountaineering gear in Bolivia is a challenge. Official brand stores don't exist here, and imported technical equipment comes with steep prices due to high taxes and customs fees. To make climbing in the Andes more accessible, we offer a simple, collaborative alternative.

Priority Gear We Need:

* Mountaineering boots in large sizes (our highest demand and hardest to find locally)

* Crampons (automatic, semi-automatic, or strap-on)

* Ice axes (classic walking axes and technical ice tools)

* 4-season sleeping bags (rated for extreme cold)

* 4-season tents

* Climbing helmets

* Ropes (dynamic and static)

* Carabiners (locking and HMS)

How It Works

* Pay with Gear: Reduce the cost of your expedition by bringing new or gently used technical equipment for our team.

* Sell Us Your Gear After Your Trip: Don't want to haul heavy equipment back home after your climb? We'll buy it from you at a fair price.

A Win-Win for Mountain Safety

By trading or selling your gear, you save money on your trip while directly helping us keep our inventory modern, updated, and 100% safe for our local guides and future climbers.
