Our Social Origin: Born from Resilience
Our social mission began back in 2021.
In the wake of COVID-19, we saw firsthand how many local families and small business owners suffered overwhelming financial losses. We knew we had to step up: we turned our passion for the mountains into an engine of solidarity. Today, our mountain guides, porters, and entire staff are deeply committed to this cause, making sure every expedition helps bring stability and hope back to local homes across Bolivia.

This social program is lovingly coordinated by Caren Poma, a professional Social Worker and Pedro’s wife. After years of working across various community development projects, Caren found in our company the perfect balance between her love for nature and her lifelong calling to serve others. Alongside our guides and field crew, she personally walks with each family. Given the current political and economic challenges in Bolivia, this direct mentorship is more vital than ever for local entrepreneurs.
